Okay, so again I seem to be neglecting this blog – but it just so happens I’m really busy at the moment – (Sorry Blog!!!)

So what’s been happening?

I’ve taken on a small side tech support role for hosting businesses with WiredTechs. I also re-designed their website, so take a look!

I’ve registered a business name, (Which shall remain secret for now!!!) – Or not so secret for those that have me on facebook!!!

I’ve re-designed The Endz website, and have implemented new community features

I’ve been tweaking the web server supplied by the lovely MediaTemple that all my clients websites are on. It was always fast and reliable (Cheers Guys!), but now its blazing fast!

I’ve tweaked Millom Fairtrades’ new website before it gets launched (All thats left is the input from the Fairtrade Group at Millom School!)

I’ve been working on a few personal projects that will be launched before the new year… More info to follow this week?!

I’ve been trailing around house viewings… The houses we’ve looked at so far are brilliant!

I should also probably mention that its been a scorching 38C the last two days here, and will continue to get slightly hotter (41C) throughout the week. This weather is something I’m really not used to having lived in the Lake District all my life. I’m not complaining though! – I had a lovely swim in the sea on Sunday, and I didn’t freeze to death in the process!

My latest site has just been launched… Hoorah!

There will be quite a lot of changes coming up as the site develops, but we’ve launched it as soon as we could to allow sponsors to look at it / get away from the icky landing page!

Quick Link: www.theendzdrama.com

Written by and starring actors who have grown up in ‘The Endz’, this exciting new drama series is a tenacious portrayal of life on the streets of Manchester. Like nothing you’ve seen before, this realistic and harrowing insight into the young lives of city kids, will envelope you into a dark and unsettling environment.

I’ve spent the last month back in the UK seeing friends and family. Sort of like a holiday, it helped me think up lots of new projects to venture upon – and now i’m back (and all refreshed) its time to give them a go! I’ve registered a couple of domains (which shall remain secret for now!) but I’m very excited for the future… Will keep you updated on my progress as I start work upon them!

Since I’ve been back I’ve also been working on a project for a new Internet drama series called “The EndZ”.

Taken from the website:

“The EndZ” is a tenacious portrayal of life on the streets of Manchester. Like nothing you’ve seen before, this realistic and harrowing insight into the young lives of city kids, will envelope you into a dark and unsettling environment.

The site is still in development, but I hope to have it finished off within the week. In the meantime you can view the holding page and the pilot episode for the series which is very much worth a look at!

Link: The Endz

I’ve also ditched cannybill (the service I had started using about two months ago for billing clients) in favour for freshbooks. Its much easier to use & work with, looks nicer, and although it doesn’t integrate with my server (like cannybill is supposed to but i never quite managed to get working…) it sure is a better experience in every aspect.

One last mention to both The Brown Cow Inn and Janet Hampson for giving me some work whilst home! Thank you very much!

…Things have started to get quite exciting around here now!

This month has seen a 600% increase in visitors to this website – which totals more than the visitors for the rest of the year so far!

So, what I have I been up to since being in Australia? I’ve been developing a few themes for WordPress, and I also have some Invision Power Board skins in the pipeline. I’m not 100% sure where to sell the skins / themes yet. I’ve been thinking about themeforest - but I might just end up selling them here because themeforest take 60% of the sale. If you know anywhere I’d love to hear about it in the comments! Previews will come shortly!

I have also been preparing marketing materials & getting my name out on forums / websites. I hope to be marketing locally very soon too. – And if any designers / coders are reading this – I’m available for outsourcing!

I’ve also streamlined the way I bill clients – I’m now using cannybill.com – It’s super fast and leaves me a lot more time to do what I do best: design. I don’t think I could recommend it enough and it also integrates with quite a few things which I plan to be using in the coming months – so be sure to check it out!
